Shelter Slumber Pawty

Companion Pet Rescue is participating in the nationwide Shelter Slumber Pawty again this year! During this event, shelters across the country join together to show their communities what it’s like for pets living in a shelter setting, how much work goes on behind the scenes to care for the animals, how vital volunteer power is to their organizations, and to raise money for their shelters.

As a part of this amazing event, volunteers are spending 24 hours at Where Sit Happens at Quarry Walk in Oxford, CT with some wonderful, adoptable CPR pups. They’ll be sharing their experiences on their own social media platforms while raising funds for CPR! Last year we participated in this event for the second time and raised just over $20,000 for our sweet rescue and that helped to ensure we could take in pups no matter their medical condition. This year, we’ve decided to really go for it and set a $30,000 goal!
